Actor Feedback:
"I'd say working with you was very easy. You know what you're looking for, and were great at helping me reach the performance you wanted. It seemed professional enough on set, while remaining a fun and enjoyable atmosphere."

"Emma is a fantastic director to work with for any actor. When we worked together on "Non Starter Leader", I was relatively inexperienced and new to the industry; much of my ability to perform hinged on Emma's ability to create an environment that balanced both relaxation and professionalism. I wasn't disappointed; the experience was enriching on both a personal and professional level, and I found Emma to have the ideal balance between knowing what she was looking for and getting what she needed from my performance, and promoting creative exploration of the script and the character that I was playing to get the best out of each take. She is also a great person to be around - friendly, approachable, open to ideas, and keen to enjoy herself as much as possible whilst maintaining a healthy level of professionalism on her set. She was able to deal with difficult issues that arose during the course of the shoot with positivity and pragmatism, which, in turn, made me feel at ease and relaxed as we progressed through the project, allowing me to do my best and focus on the task at hand.
In short, Emma is a pleasure to work with, and her enthusiasm, professionalism and positivity made the filming of "Non Starter Leader" enjoyable, satisfying, and educational. She is a real actors' director, and working on her set was both fun, and reassuringly professional. I would be thrilled to work with her again in future. "

Tutor Feedback:
"I would strongly recommend that you continue to pursue this line-you are good at it, and it is a rich and rewarding career." Dr. David Hoyle: Tutor/ Ex-Channel 4 Commissioner
Client Feedback:
"Emma is an extremely detail-oriented painstaking Producer and Director who stops at nothing to get a quality job done while inspiring the team. On our recent production at Praizion Media, she built the team of cast and crew from scratch, chose the location, Directed, Produced and Edited the entire business leadership movie. She took the story idea, ran with it and delivered a world-class product. We look forward to working with Emma on many more projects.
I am highly motivated by her drive, honesty and good nature. I recommend her as a great mind and breath of fresh air to any film project as a Director/Producer/Editor or Advisor"

"Emma combines talent, skill, integrity, grit, vision and determination. As a student, she has had to overcome more hardships than most and few will equal the sheer love she has for her work and her subject. She is also very easy to work with. She filmed two live arts events for us last summer at short notice. One involved capturing in black and white the interaction of poetry, folk music (including fiddle) and live art performed on a Bronze Age barrow to a 'Haunted Norfolk' specification; the second was a colour-film recording of a concert called From the Bronze Age to The Ballad Age in which theatre, folk-rock music, spoken word and academic talk was captured in a lively collage. Two excellent and differently-aimed trailers were also made from this footage which have been essential as part of our promotion of the group and the concept. In all of this, Emma worked tirelessly, managing her film crew expertly through a long afternoon and evening and delivered all the material requested promptly, cheerfully and to tight deadlines. She actually became a member of the group during this process, so creative, engaged and generous was she with her time and talents. One traditional folk group (The Fried Pirates) who were also involved in both parts of the day asked her to make them a promotional film of their performances which made them look superb and which I know has been very useful in securing bookings. I look forward to working with her again as soon as circumstances allow and i commend her to you without reservation."

Weeney todd: 'Bearing in mind this was my first time doing anything like this, and it was 4 years ago. I made the entire set and suffered the smell of dodgy sausages and mouldy potatoes; I can confirm that to this day I have been unable to eat frankfurters.' |
